Biography
- Hello, my name is Sarah Marie Malievsky, FNP-BC. I am excited to offer quality care as a family nurse practitioner. I have twenty years of experience working as a registered nurse, with telemetry, surgical ICU, and homecare being some of my favored areas of expertise. My nursing philosophy is to always bring the required knowledge and compassion to those I care for and the community around me to reach the goals set before us.
- As a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse, I have developed a progressive career history in direct patient care, triage, and care coordination in a fast-paced environment. My proven ability to remain calm under pressure and skillfully handle complex patients and high-stress situations has allowed me to consistently develop strong relationships with patients and families through empathetic communication, a respectful attitude, and excellent customer service.
- My skills and experience align with the responsibilities required. I have experience providing primary care to patients, performing initial examinations, setting up and monitoring medical equipment, ordering and administering diagnostic tests, and recording patient medical histories. I am also skilled in interpreting and tracking EKG readings, identifying irregular telemetry readings, and updating team members on changes in stability or acuity. In addition to my technical skills, I possess excellent written and verbal communication, listening, organization, time management, and teamwork skills. My empathy and compassion allow me to provide accurate, effective care in stressful situations. I can also work under pressure for long hours and communicate test results to patients and their families clearly and concisely.
- I received my Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, with distinction at United States University.
